ADVICE NEEDED my first build

So I want to build a somewhat future proof gaming rig and need some help to figure this out.
Case:CM Storm Stryker
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth Z77
Memory: Patriot DDR3 16gb quad channel 2133MHz Intel Extreme Masters Viper 3 series
CPU: i7-3370k default 3.5 Ghz want to keep the option of overclock open to around 4.5 isch.
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i liquid cooling
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX680 4096MB GDDR5
Need advice on PSU, overkilling as I want this build not to be extremely expensive, is CPU cooler capable of handling heat of CPU when overclocked to 4.5, some help on a good HDD or SSD with enough space for game storage and uploading videos. Speed is key but at an achievable budget, for me astetics of a build on the inside would be nice, right now its white, blue and black. Thank you for your help.

Do you want a modular PSU?
4.5ghz OC should be ok but of course depends on your chip and what you deem to be "good" temps.
HDD- Western Digital Black, 1 TB (can use more or less storage if need be)
SSD-Samsung 830, 512 gb, good speed but also reliable.
Hope this helps,

Hey there,
I would recommend the Samsung 830 series of SSDs, as they are fast and reliable, and they look nice too!

Seems like a solid build overall, however I would consider getting corsair RAM and Maybe a 670 to nock a lot of the price off but you won't loose too much performance.
For PSU I would get ax760i or hx 750 for slightly cheaper and M4 SSD.

Hope this helped, good luck with the build.

Thanks for your help, modular would be good as I said astetics are a concern with me with all those unecessary cables it would just be a mess and a case with a see through panel on the side can't be a mess in my opinion. My temps that are acceptable I think is around 60c I think or is that unrealistic.

Any idea of how much a performance drop there is between 670 and 680?

For a good modular PSU with room for upgrading parts in the future, Corsair AX850 or AX750, if you have the spare cash AX860i comes with useful software control and looks amazing. 60c isn't unrealistic, maybe slightly over that depending on your chip and the rest of your case cooling.

I found that they say around 25 more watts power consumption in gtx680 and slightly better performance as it performs BF3 every thing on highest at around 69 FPS for a resolution of 1920x1080.

a 670 get's up to 76c when full loaded for a reference card not manufactured with better cooling
a 680 upto 77c when full loaded
