Hi all,
Waiting for new hardware is a killer, but as it gets closer to the time I am trying to finalise details in my head of what I want to do.
I am planning to get an EVGA SR-X, and 2-3 Kepler cards. I would want to watercool both CPUs, the motherboard and the cards. (possibly ram if I can, but I'm not sure how easy that would be on this board) And while I do have a fair amount saved up, I want to save money where I can without going too overboard.
Obviously none of this hardware is released yet so hard to judge, but if we can go on current gen SR-2 and 580s for example, how many radiators and loops would I need?
On my previous build I went for a 2 loop set up, but since reading about them I have found that it was probably way overkill and wanted to go for a single loop on this one. I also had 2x 480 radiators in mind for this build, but do you think I could get away with less? Been hearing great things about Mayhem's new rads too. I would prefer to have one loop (with 2 pumps?) Would that be good, or with the amount of heat output would it be better to go for 2? The case I was thinking of getting was the Xigmatek Elysium, so even if it is a big case I am worried everything might start getting a bit tight!
Essay over, opinions appreciated
