Okay first I will post my specs:
Case: Thermaltake Xaser 3 Lanfire (4 case fans)
Processor: AMD Barton 2500+
Motherboard: Asus A7N8X-X
HSF: Thermaltake Volcano 11+
HDD: Maxtor 80gb 8mb cache
PSU: Q-tec Dual 400w
Okay it's a pretty nice rig but needs some internal tidying - see: http://portal.strengthandhonour.org/images/deren-comp/ for pictures.
Anyway so far I have upped the FSB to 200mhz and kept the multiplier as 11.0.
If you haven't already worked it out thats 2.2Ghz and it runs it aswell. Performing to the same standard as a 3200+ on tests with only a fraction of difference.
The temperatures for my OC:
Room temp: 20 Deg C
CPU Probe Results:
Idle (No network connection): 28-30 Deg C
Idle (Network Connection): 31-33 Deg C
Full load: 44.6-46.4 Deg C
Now I need to sort my airflow out a bit but what do you reckon I could achieve.
Also if I bought a Prometia unit would it HAVE to sit under it and I would need to make a hole or could I put it to the side and find somewhere else to place the evaporator.
