Admin abusing power

I see whre VK comes from, I dont play the game, but if it was on cs and the p90 was available and just because you dont like it and it makes the game ''UNFAIR'' then its your choice but if you dont like it go to another server is them removed...

Im only stating my opinion which is pretty fair.

I just got kicked (temporary ban) by VK.

We who play on server #2 nearly every day, don't like it when people use Grenade Launcher. I asked him (polite) to not use Grenade Launcher. He says GL is allowed. I explain that we who actually play on this server a lot dont like it when people use GL. He says "so leave this server", I say "no" and start to continue my answer but he kicks me before I finished my sentence.

This should not be acceptable. I should be allowed to ask someone not to use Grenade Launcher when the vast majority of the regulars on the server agree with me. Even if this someone has admin rights and is a friend of jim.

Firstly, get your story correct.

The server is a ranked server and there is no enforcement of not using particular weapons. If that was the case, the server would not be ranked and I'm pretty sure hand grenades, P90's, martyrdom and grenade launchers would be removed.

Enforcing people not to use weapons that were added to the game by the development team purely because you don't like being killed by it, could in effect be perceived as stat padding. A ranked server allows all weapons to be used by all people.

Secondly, starting a kick vote against a person you well know to be an admin, is a pretty stupid thing to do.

Thirdly, it's not a temporary ban and you should be perfectly able to rejoin the server.

Its not because I dont like being killed by it. Its because of it being able to kill 5 ppl instantly without aiming. It doesnt matter if it kills me or my enemy or friend, its still a very stupid weapon that removes a great deal of fun from the game.

EDIT: And as said, the majority of the players who play a lot on this server agrees with me.

I did not start a kick against you. It is possible that someone else did, but I did not. Check logs if you got any.

I think its more like an hour.

I can't provide video evedence because I do not record every minute that I play. I didnt exactly expect getting BANNED by an admin for asking him to play the game like the rest of us.

btw, if there are logs of the server console or something our conversation should be there.

I'm more than happy to listen to the people who play in the server Frakt.

However, those people should play by the rules of the server and not by their own made up rules.

Otherwise, we'd have people in football wearing boxing gloves, 'cos they don't want to play like everybody else.

Oh and to clarify, I didnt "happen to think" you were wrong. You were wrong and thats fact.

EDIT: lets put it this way. You have a football team and you decide to play with 11 players on defence. Most other teams would prefer if you dont because it just means boring and stupid games. That's what GL does.

The server allows grenade launchers, therefore, I'll use them if I bloody well want to. I paid for my copy of the game as I'm sure you did and I will play the way I want to.

If you feel I have abused my powers, that's your perogative.

Perhaps I should start banning people who use hand grenades or the martyrdom perk.

Use of the Overclock3D server is a privilege and not a right. If you don't want to abide by the rules then you don't have to.

There's only 13000 other servers to choose from.
