We hope to be working closely with Abit in the future to bring you all of the latest on their excellent new boards!

Abit needs to steal oskar wu back from DFI . No matter what all high quality components they use , unless they have a bios that takes advantage of them , they are going to be handicapped. Hell ASUS just got a young board designer and look at the RD580 and RD480 board from them. Definitely a step in the right direction. Abit needs something like that as well. They have been making empty promises for a long time. Time to deliver IMHO. I want the days of NF7-S and IC7-MAX3 back !!!

I used to be a great fan of Abit, buying every board as soon as it came out. After the IC7 tho everything went downhill and i started looking elsewhere.

However, now that they have been taken over lets hope things start picking up for them. All it takes is one good board (like the DFI NF4) to get them back in the game and its time they deserved some success.

Heh, a few years ago, Abit were renound for using dodgy caps. Best board they've produced to date has to be the BP6. Now that was something special ;). (And it's kind of ironic how the guy who's credited with inventing them now works for DFI).

In the late ninteys a lot of motherboard manufacturers had bad cap problems too, including IBM and others.

Seen the caps on the NF7-S series and the boards from there on ??

They are all rubicon or better. You cant get any better than those.

The legendary ocer from Abit was BH7.
