ABIT IX38 QuadGT

I purchased the ABIT IX38 QuadGT over a week ago.

It is still boxed while I wait to get/research other components needed for my water build. Thing is there are a couple forums showing not good signs for the IX38 QuadGT at present.

There is no PCI USB bracket included and an excuse seems to be lack of box space (what an excuse).

Anyone know where I can get one from please?

It will need to be a blue board on though to go with my other blue components

Secondly there are BIOS issues... but I've been waiting for the motherboard release for ages and it's release was put back I heard due to ABIT wanting the BIOS just right... guess they failed!

Thirdly the box is actually too large as it allows the board to move freely in transit causing damaging to a few boards already I hear... esp the heatsink pipe.

I am looking to replace the heatpipe with my own heatsinks. Not sure if I read somewhere that the NB heatsink bracket holes spacing is different to standard on this board. Anyone know if this is true or have standard holes measurements so i can compare?

Any views on current owner of the motherboard also welcome?

I'll be watercooling the motherboard and looking to overclock (my first overclock mind) a Q6600 on this board to 3.6Ghz at least.

I`ve not got one in the IP35 box either (pci usb). But I have see them for sale for like $3 or $6 at the US ABit site. They`re generic afaic so any ones from anywhere should be ok.

Need UK retailer myself... seen a few kicking about on amazon etc... shouldnt have to pay for something like this that should be on what ABIT call an 'enthusiasts' motherboard!!!!!
