Hey all !

I'm building a new computer these days. I've already bought water cooling from a local shop. And think I have settled for all the other components, but it would be nice with advice

So here it its:

Corsair graphite 600 t white

I5 2500 k

Vengeance 2x4 CL9

Sapphire 7870 OC version

Corsair HX 750 W PSU

Asus Maximus GENE V Z77 m-ATX

Intel 520 120gb SSD

Lite-on dvd writer

Noctua NT-H1 thermal grease/paste/compound

I'm not keen on another chassis or CPU btw:)

And I know this ain't top notch, I just want a comp for my studies and to play EVEonline, SWTOR and BF3 on:) And the new assassins creed when it gets out.

It's also my first watercooled case, so im gonna try it out, and overclock the cpu , RAM and GPU

Is this setup OK ?

this is the Water cooling kit. Ive swapped the tubes for red UV in 3/8 - 5/8,

Using Ekoolant RED liquids.

Sorry for my english...I'm norwegian:P

It looks good.

I dont know why you would spend that much on water cooling when you could use that money on better components, but that's up to you i guess.

in norwegian kroners its not much, its actually the cheapest 240 rad kit I could find here in norway

! Ek 360 HFX = 2500 norwegian kroners

The rad,and the pump are Maxicool or something, but reproduced by a norwegian webstore called Techbay. The compressions are from bitspower, I use 3/8 in - 5/8 od tubes ( red UV ) .

It's a 240 rad btw.

The pump can pump 700 litres per hour

.

As I said, it aint a fancy watercooling but it does the job for cooling down the CPU.

Later I will import a complete XSPC kit or try to choose components by myself ( with some consulting from these forums )

It's the first time I'm trying watercooling so wanted to go for something easy:)

looks pretty good, but 1 question: WHY a z77 motherboard with the 2500k?? or was that a mistake and you meant z68? because z77 isn't going to be any better then z68 with that cpu.

other then that, its good and it will look good too.

also xspc kits are really good, depending on where you want to buy them (i got mine with the raystorm cpu block, rx360 and a dual bay res/d5 pump combo) u just need liquid, i recommend the EK Ekoolant blood red

This is a temporary kit, I'm going to "The gathering" worlds second largest comp parry

( nerd..? Check!) and I needed a new comp.

I'm planning to turn this into a monster this autumn, Waiting for Ivy Bridge, 7870 in Sli , a Nzxt switch 810 chassis and some heavy cooling if im into it.

I'm using the ekoolant now, it's beautiful:)
