A heads up for the BigAdv gang!

Well these 6901's haven't gone well for me. Lost two of these on two different machines after completion and sending results. "Server reports problem with WU". Then proceeded to download and run A3 core -bigadv WU's. Have a third one due in a few hours on the third machine......If this one fails my PPD will suck bad for awhile and my blood pressure will be highly elevated!!!!

Not having any issues with -bigadv (yet). /knocks on wood

Edit: Thought this was the b!tc# and complain thread.

So far I don't think I've had any issues with the new A5 Core. I'll take a peek through my logs though..

Looks like two failed with previously stated issue and one was accepted. All three machines are now on A3 -bigadv WU's ATM.

Are they having a problem or is it me??? (read about some early send issues but it sounded a little different than mine) Went back this evening and got all new downloads for the 6.34 client and pasted into the existing directorys and created new shortcuts, also deleted previous A5 cores so new will ones will be loaded with A5 WU's

Hope this crap is over as it was about a 140,000 point loss

Are your machines on A3 or A5 WU's ATM?

Well I just finished installing that new 6.34 and drop in binary thing so we'll see what happens.

a3 WU go figure

the WUs seem to be slow today - i was given a few chances to do huge WUs this morning, but turned them down (4047). too long for me

6066, 7117, 6076, 6053, 6068,

You sure flags are right, and it is running Client version 6.34? With the SMP core version at 2.27?(A5)

My last WU finished and downloaded a new A5 core and is running a 6900 WU......so an old A3 core WU but running on A5 core

Thanks Steve Aparrently I had downloaded 6.30 because i thought it was that drop in binary link but not sure if i'll need that drop in binary link as it just downloaded and a5 core.

thanks again

OK a little up date on mt lost 6901 WU's......

Apparently it was a Stanford problem that only affected 32 bit OS's which would explain why my Win 64 bit machine was OK.

This was trying as the affected machines were fine for quite some time and then bam failed uploads and I'm thinking the problem is on my end.

So 350,000 lost points and 12.5 lost folding days later maybe Stanford has rectified the problem.
