A handy toolkit

After a quality (read: will not break) toolset with the popular screwdriver sizes, the ones I may run into plus any other gadgets that are useful. The scenario is that the few screwdrivers we have are either

Lying around all over the place

Crap tbh

The wrong type

Again...lost :p

Will be for everyday use, PC hardware stuff use and the odd job such as taking apart phones for cleaning and similiar. Any links? I've checked Argos and the best manufacturer is Black and Decker?! Looking for a Stanley or similar quality (long overdue upgrade needed :yumyum:) although we (being family) want to spend loads on hundreds of screwdrivers etc. not going to be used :p

why not get what you need individually?,probly works out cheaper too

get down b&q or ur local tool shop,screwfix.co.uk or w/e.

Raging.

Righhhttoo

I'll either stop off when im at college or wait for a family outing.

We dont have any major hardware stores where i live :p

Best screwdriver in my house (prob taking 20/30+ screwdrivers of computer use size, old man collects tools. Habbits passed on...) cost 49p form asda...

People will laugh but my most used and most reliable tools have come in a £2.99 fold up box from aldes or lidles or something like that.

Get a long nose pliers, wire snips, tweezers, various sockets + driver, range of flathead / cross / star heads for the screwdriver and a set of watchmakers screwdrivers. All of which have been in constant use for well over a year and aren't slightly worn.

Plus the lot folds up small enough to fit in your pocket - albeit slightly uncomfortably lol

I had a great set of free screwdrivers from staples that I got on promotion (for the price of a 20p ruler lol!), but they're all busted now after some tough screws :p

I think i have that exact same set, and it's been the house set for a year and a half and still works well.

Have you really got nothing other than the castle in Ludlow?
