9800GX2 probs

I got a 9800GX2, but wheni start folding it just BSOD's instantly, i ran Furmark and loads of benchmarks and they all are stable. Anyone seen anything like this?

Should the 9800GX2 be better than my 460? or shall i just use that on my main rig instead?

The 460 is better IMO but both produce good PPD.

What drivers are you using on the 9800?

very latest off the nVidia site, think its worth it to try older ones?

I used to have some 9800GX2's, be sure in the nvidia control panel that it is set to two GPU's. You then should be able to run a GPU instance on each core.

Im thinking there is something wrong with the card, i didnt pay anything for it so its alright. If i underclock it loads it will fold, really slowly. Yep set to 2 GPU's etc

Damn, its going to take ages to get up with you guys, if i ever get there.

Also while im here, when i fold with my CPU, it only get to like 25% on each of the 4 cores, and its slow as hell. Problem with me or is it just how it works??

Quite awhile actually, I can remember when WU's where worth only 1 or 2 points

But obviously todays hardware and work units will rack up points really fast.
