hi guys ive just found a 9800gtx for 50 quid on facebook, the guy lives locally and says its in great condition. is it worth it for 50 quid?

Not really. Don't even think a GTX260 is worth that.

Seems too high for such a card. £35 seems more reasonable though. Try looking for a 5770 or something along those lines. I bought one for £60 a couple of months back.

I think it is quite easy to find a 5770 for £50-£60 on ebay

Exactly. The 5770 would be a much better choice for the money.

well ive got him to go to 40 quid and theres no delivery as im picking it up tomorrow. all i really want it to do is play day z so my brother can use that pc rather than my main one. also ill probably use it as a folding card so i wanted nvidia rather than amd. is the stock cooler on the 9800gtx any good like quiet to a normal person?
