9/11

Today is the 11th of september, a day on which many people pointlessly died, so i would like to extend my respect to all the people who died for no cause or reason, the brave men who died trying to save them and their friends and familys. I hear some forums are closing as a mark of respect but i think it is important to move on from these things and not let terrorists and the sick people who do this sort of thing win. :(

Thanks llwyd, greatly appreciated. There was in article in the local paper a few days ago, and on the national news about how every single person who came to help in the rescue efforts within 2 days of the buildings fall, now has chronic respiratory problems.

A sad day indeed. It's good to see people have not forgotten and that we Americans aren't the only ones that care. I like this image of the WTCs better.

My heartfelt condolences for those families affected by this senseless act of evil. My only hope is that the victims families are able to move on and rebuild their shattered lives with some semblence to their former ones. Further, through whatever means possible, may it be our aim as a united people to ensure that this never happens again.

Lest We Forget 9/11/2001

"The probability that we may fall in the struggle ought not to deter us from the support of a cause we believe to be just; it shall not deter me." (Lincoln. A, 1839)

I can't really say much that hasn't already been said, but my thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones on possibly one of the worst days for the loss of innocent people's lives outside of a war.

Just a re-iteration of what everybody else has said. Hope we can gain some strength from the commitment of emergency services and the bonding of those affected.

I am glad someone created a topic like this otherwise I would have done one myself. I am still intrested in 9/11 and would love to find the truth out of what really happend. But as Llwyd said, its pointless letting it ruin your day as thats just letting the terrorists or whoever carried this out to win.

The truth of what happened is that we were attacked by terrorists, none of this other liberal bs crap like a planned demolition... anyone who thinks otherwise should be lined up in front of a firing squad.

Yep pointless and mindless senseless violence. screw their religious beliefs. Any religion that agrees with killing innocent people doesn't deserve to be defined as a religion.

I believe it was terrorist activity but just dont think it was the plains alone that took the bulding down.

After watching several videos it is very clear that there was several big bangs before each building fell which leads me to think that maybe bombs were planted in the buildings aswell (by terrorists ofcourse).

If people want to believe otherwise then that is their choice but everyone has an opinion ;)

Islam and Muslims, to clear things up, do not condone or uphold the thoughts of extremists. I work with many and they personally abhor this action, almost to the point of disassociating themselves :)

OK I should have clarified, as I know this Matt :) I meant any religious belief - and this is certainly based on a religious belief - that think killing is a good way to get heard is despicable to me. And yep a lot of my friends from Uni are Muslims and good people who hate this image on their religion

LOL I knew what you meant kemp :) Just stirring ;) I couldn't agree with your statement more, and it's a pity that the innocent ones get viewed in the same light
