8700K in Z390?

Just wanted to ask you guys for your expertise, would an 8700K work ”out of the box” in an Z390 motherboard. Such as the ASUS ROG Z390-I GAMING, without the need of any BIOS updates/updating?...

It will. It's just like how all AMD X470 motherboards will work with Ryzen 1st Gen processors.

Ah got it, so no BIOS updating needing in order to an 8700K to function properly in an Z390 motherboard then? Just install it and rock on?...
