800mhz ram vs 667mhz

i going for an amd system this week

Amd 5200+ 2.7 (brisbane)

Asus M2E-E mobo

Asus EN8600GT

Ram 2gb

My question is there significant performance difference between 667 and 800mhz ram for amd platform? especially in games and in multitasking .I heard that 667mhz ram is enough for core 2 duo ,but what about amd is it worth to go for 800mhz ram?i googled this but i can only see benchmark with intel cpu.

Ans also i wont be be overclocking this cpu so is 667mhz enough?

To be honest, I don't think there is much in it.

I would just go for a good pair of 667mhz modules and overclock them a little..

Just to break the discussion wide open, what would be the point of buying 5300, 6400 or even 8500 ?

I mean what would sway ur thinking either way as an oc`er or not ?

I`m thinking if u`re an oc`er, u want quality 6400, and know u can push it.

As a non oc`er u`d want 8500, as cheap as u can get it.
