What do you think? Designed for running BF3, Skyrim and other goodies that are coming.

Site I'll be ordering from is http://www.hoh.de

Maybe for the case I could pay a bit more and get Fractal Design Arc Midi? Tho I do not intend to run watercooling, I'm very keen on doing a window mod in the future.

Are you planing to overclock on that motherboard? If so, then the Asrock mobos isnt the best ones for that purpose. Id choose an Asus, Gigabyte or even a msi board instead.

Cpu, ram, hdd is all good.

I would change the psu to a better quality one. Corsair, enermax, Seasonic make good psu's. If you can afford a Corsair AX750-850w that would be awesome. You can run sli/x-fire later on and the psu is also fully modular, gold certified and comes with 7 years warranty. Corsair also sell braided cable kits in different colours for the hole AX series :-)

I saw this OCZ750w Then you are ready for sli/xfire later on.

The cpu cooler/optical i have no experience with.

Case is ok, but i would have chosen the Define R3 if i wanted a fractal case. You can get that in white, black and titanium and cost only around 15-20£ more.

Heres a few motherboards you could check out: Asus sabertooth, pro z68 gen3. Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3, GA-Z68XP-UD4 and MSI Z68A-GD65 (Gen3)

good parts all around

got almost the same system

for psu i also could recommend the XFX PRO 650W Core Edition

it costs only 10 € more and its made by seasonic

Im running my system on a 500W no problem and my specs are pretty good. Im using a Corsair CX500

my specs:

Intel Sandybridge i7 2600k 3.4GHz(3.8GHz Turbo Core) <- the motherboard is set to performance so under heavy load it actually jumps up to 4.4GHz.

ASUS P8P67-Pro Motherboard

12GB G.Skill Sniper DDR3 1600 RAM

EVGA GTX460 Superclocked Graphics Card

Corsair CX500 500W PSU

Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler

Cooler Master Storm Enforcer Case

1.4TB Storage Space

Corsair, Antech, Mushkin, Ultra LSP series PSUs, Silverstone, Enermax, Thermaltake, OCZ. Just to name a few of the better brands.

Honestly I think Corsair is the best of the lot.

Seasonic is the OEM for the better Corsair PSU's so Seasonic is the best out of the lot. BeQuiet is another good brand you could consider as I have one of their 80+ gold rated PSUs and it has been running perfectly for about 8 months now

Well, I picked the 1st one since it's cheaper and I switched mobo for MSI Z68A-GD65 (Gen3) just to hit under 850€. I know, I know - some PSU is better and it only costs 10€ extra and some mobo is better and costs 10€ extra and something else is better and costs only 10€ extra and I end up with 1000€ PC. Which I would not mind, if I had 1k to blow on a PC right now

Thanks for help, will report how it works all together. Gonna wire the money tomorrow.

Woohoo! \o/

I received the package yesterday, but I had to go to uni and came home late... which didn't stop me from putting it all together

Mounting the CPU cooler was a major pain in the bum, but once that was done and mobo has been placed inside of the case the real fun started

Didn't have the time to run any major tests yet nor toy with OCing. But I did notice one thing - CPU cooler is vibrating a bit. That's normal or I failed with the mounting? I get 29°C at idle and had 50°C max while running prime95.

Sadly I need to go to work in about an hour + I work whole weekend so yeah, that will be a bit painful knowing I have a new toy back at home

Had a PC for a few days now but I'm swamped with work. Today was the first day I tried some OCing. With a push of a button (OC Genie) I ended up with CPU at 4.2GHz at core voltage of 1.328V and ram running at 1600MHz. I left the prime95 running only for 5 minutes, just to get some sense of temperatures and ended up with 63°C max.

I turned off OC Genie and tried myself. Set multiplier on 45 and core volate at 1.315 and ram to 1600MHz. Didn't really touch any other options. Booted up with no problems. CPU-Z is reporting core voltage of 1.288V and after running prime95 for 10 minutes max temperature is 63°C (4.5GHz). All I wanted was a stable OC of 4.5GHz... but now that I have that I of course want more

Not gonna bother much tonight since I'm off to bed - have to get up at 4 AM tomorrow

If I were you, I'd do it. ARC midi is my favourite case out there. Looks awesome, has lots of nice features and is relatively cheap.

THe only thing I don't like is front bezel. I don't like the fact that it's plastic and requires removing in order to clean front dust filter.

I am afraid that in time some of the clips would simply break
