someone did... almost at nearly 2ce the scores!

as the threead goes on the score goes up

18386 X score on 3dmark 11 and nearly 20k on the gpu score... he claims hes hitting a cpu bottle neck because he lost on the silcone lottery..... imagine the sr3 and quad say the sapphire super cards coming!

I'm looking at this tech the same way I look at a Porsche. Very well engineered, stunning specs but totally impractical and too expensive for my every day needs. I wouldn't mind having a mate who owned one, so that I could take it for a spin every now and then, but it would be wasted on me.

was on about this with a mate before, how much cheaper should the 580 be?

me i think its about right around £100 less like it is atm tbh, it gives away around a third in performance so should be around a third of the price cheaper.

Maybe not the normal 580s but the 3gb ones are £400-£450+ I reckon they will drop the price of the 3gb versions anyway.
