7950 bad fps

when it's enabled it sets the stock voltage to 1.48V. but okay i will enable it again. manual mode still has no effect, will set it back to offset

Make sure you disabled all of these

Set your overclock tuner to Manual,
Set your RAM speed to 1333 or 1600, whichever is stock,
Set the rated RAM timings manually - Not important for now

Well try disabling it and see how it goes without it. Wish you didn't have to reset the bios.. we wouldn't be wasting time with this problem, instead you'd prolly have a decent stable overclock by now.

that fixxed the issue. i'm going to try 1.6 and 1.7 again (won't try 1.5, i had 1.5 with the voltage drop and that crashed after 10 minutes)
/edit/
it won't wobble on idle anymore, but it still drops to 1.5V on 1.7V under load.

also since you are a staff member, are you able to rename this thread and put it in the cpu OC area? it might bring more people to throw in their ideas.

People see the thread, but most people here use Intel and those who use AMD are probably offline and just a few lol. And I'm not a staff member... :)

I just don't know why the massive Vdrop. LLC should cure that I think.

what about the svm stuff? i will try enabling LLC again.

The SVM means Secure Virtual MAchine and it's not a feature related to Power saving ... blah blah, it's for when yoiu have multiple OS's on your system.

Are you sure LLC has only Auto, Disabled and Enabled? Try all 3 of them, be creative... just don't mess with the voltages.

when i enable it, it boosts to 1.51V. so i adjusted it to run at 1.46V, but it started wobbleing again. i will try auto again. if that doesn't work it must be something else.

on auto it's the same result as on disabled. 1.47V steady idle (even though it says 1.46V in the bios) and then drop to 1.45V under load

That's a big Vdrop, I don't get it... it worked fine before... it's stupid! We're stuck, we need to get it as it was before. I know the loadline calibration is a good feature but making the voltage jump around like that... It doesn't seem right.
