does it have picture/image quality improvement? from 7900gtx to 8800 ultra.

does the 8800 ultra have better picture quality than the 7900gtx? or jus same? exept one is faster?

No picture quality difference.. the difference is when you get in to games! You would be able to expect at least a 2x improvement on all games from that upgrade!
