720w psu???

Hi

How big psu will this PC need???:

Intel® Boxed Core™ i5 750 Processor - 2.66GHz Quad Core

INTEL® "Media Series" "Whitesburg" P55

Gigabyte® NVIDIA® GeForce 9600GT, 512MB 256Bit GDDR3

DVD Super All-Write SATA

HDD 1TB 7200rpm

2x "2GB DDR 3 RAM" sticks

1x 120mm Fan

I originally thought that the "GIGABYTE® ODIN 470W 24-Pin Power Supply" would be enough, but then the guy at the reselling company that I wanted to buy this pc said that I will at least need a 720w, because it's a i5 processor????

Any advice???? Exactly how big power supply do I need??

the 470w will be plenty for that, I dont know what that guy was on about.

Unless you plan on upgrading or going sli with that graphics card, the PSU you quoted would do just dandy,

the guy who told you that needs to be sacked...but yet again, its his job to drain more money out the customer....

well a 400watt corsair PSU would serve that psu just right, but if you go for the 470w then that will also be great
