Finally! Not that it makes a difference to me personally, because they waited so long to release one, I got myself a Bluetooth adaptor and a DS4 controller, works flawlessly with every single game I've tried it on

never heard of a DS4

Is that a new Nintendo thing? :p

So many USB dongles for devices.. I don't think I even have a USB port open on the back of my PC anymore!

Someone needs to design a USB adapter that can handle every single device and just assign them different ports.

but then how would they make more from proprietary connectors?

That's just not business sense is it? lol

Not surprising at all from microsoft, they do love to screw ther customers over :)
$25 for what is essentially a bluetooth/RF adapter, and they probably won't make Win7 drivers for it either.
They lost this Gen console war, and it seems like they'll be losing it on the PC side too!

What's with the hate? Also just because they release an adapter for a wireless controller for something it wasn't originally made for automatically means there are losing on the PC side? Right... because I mean no games are being made for PC or anything specifically for windows... I don't see how it's overpriced when it is the only wireless adapter for the Xbone controller that works out of the box.

That's *precisely* why it's overpriced, a Bluetooth/RF adaptor for $25 dollars is stupid, the only reason they can charge that much is because of exclusivity.

I bought a play and charge kit for my Xbox One controller, and I just use the cable when I want to use it on the pc.

I get why people would want to use a Wireless controller, but I don't see myself paying what will probably be £25 for it since Microsoft won't make the price follow with exchange rates.
