6800GT cooling

Alright, my friend recently got himself a x1900xt and has decided w/c it. Just for the heck of it, I thought about the possibility of mounting the stock cooler onto my 6800GT.

A) Do you think this can be done (w/ or w/o modding)?

B) If it needs to be modded, how would I go about doing this?

C) If so, would it be worth it (got a BFG PCIE one, so already has a copper hs)?

I wouldn't reckon it would be too much worth it.

Just re-mount the BFG one with AS5 on the core and ceramique on the memory
