Hey guys :) was thinking about buying another GTX 670 in January. Will my Antec TruePower 650Watt be able to handle these two or shall I upgrade to something like a GTX 770 or even a GTX 780 depending on available funds ?

Cheers, Dario :)

did you not you not see right under it it says min 500w psu thats just for one card so IMHO I wouldnt go under a 750watt psu but my personal recommendation is 850 for any sli or xfire setup even with the newer cards using less power the rest of your system and future expandability needs to be calculated in.

so basically I'm saying if ur not going to over clock anything and you have a very basic setup one hdd one odd a few case fans and the 2 cards it may work but it'll be at just over max recommended wattage. As theDTP you might be better going for the single higher card.

i agree, i wouldn't go under a 750w power supply for sli or crossfire.

670 SLI beats a 780 true, what they are trying to say is it is always better to go with one single more powerful card than 2 less powerful cards. Consumes less power and in the future better SLI-which defeats the purpose of single more powerful but the trend never stops.

Personally i would go with a 290 preflashed to a 290x, but thats just me.

Yeah single more powerful card does consume less power but i would like to fill my case out if that makes sense lol so it doesnt looks so empty :)
