5870 9.11 Driver problems

Yo guys,

Just got my 5870 and having some problems with the CCC,

Cant get it to load up!

Have uninstalled and run driversweeper then reinstalled, but cant get it to boot up! Was running Dirt 2 Fine, however need CCC to run to configure my displays!

Anyone else had this problem?

Problem with this used to be reliance on .NET 2.0 framework to run.

Can't imagine ur using an OS without the correct framework.

(don't ask me why they use that)

EDIT: Checked, they're not. I'll wait a little longer. Reports about 58** series performance are good though.

Uninstalled completely, including install manager, run driver sweeper twice and reinstalled in a different location and it seems to have done the Trick!

Yeah, read about that Rasta, but seemed to be on old os' and Im running 7 64...

Now having a problem with a blue screen... But not a Bsod...

If left idle for a while (hour or so) The screen dims to a dark blue and becomes unresponsive.

Has only been since I installed the 5870, getting great performance in games etc, however this issue is now getting on my t1ts as requires a restart every few hours... Which is a ***** when I'm downloading.
