570 vs 7970

ok im going to be running them in sli/crossfire, water cooled and overclocked (Within reasonable temps)

i dont know which one and i like both brands so what im asking is what do you think would work better

Well dual 7970's will be quicker, but how much do you have to spend? If you're going to be gaming on a single screen dual 670's, but that would be over kill still. If you will be gaming on a multi-monitor setup you will be fine with dual 670's, but some games may use more than 2 GB on three screens. For added safety you could get dual 7970's for a multi monitor setup.

yea sorry it was late and forgot to add in that i will be running three monitors and i have areound AUD$600 for each car and the water block

If running multiple monitors then it has to be the 7970's. Just remember they only have 1 DVI so you will need an extra active adaptor to enable eyefinity. unless of course you are made of money and have mini display port monitors lol

7970, as when both overclocked the 7970 performs better than the 670

because one dvi per card, 1x2=2 he has 3 monitors

Well if you are planning on overclocking them then you might as well get the 7950, otherwise 7970.
