560 OC vs GTX295

I know in its day the GTX295 was the daddy, but with 1080p being my resoloution for the forseeable is it worth my while upgrading to a 560 to take advantages of DX11, or would I lose speed in the majority of games I play (BF3, css, the odd bit of wow)

Looking at benchmarks around the web performance on a 560 OC is going to be a few fps lower than a 295 on high quality settings @ 1920x1080...

295 averages around 50-55fps on high quality @ 1080p

Power consummation and heat is going to be much lower though with the 560 OC

I would wait a little to see if nvidia are going to release 660 or 660ti based on there new architecture.....

If you do get a 560 OC I recommend you get the 560 from msi that I reviewed here its cheap as chips and overclocks like hell if you use the modded bios I provided...

Powers not really a concern with a 1500w psu, think ill save the pennies and hit up a high end nvidia card when the benchies clear NDA
