hi guys im looking for a bit of info does anyone know if the h105 will fit in the 500r case if so what would be the best way to mount it many thanks in advance

Yeah, the H105 would fit in the 500R. Push-pull won't fit though, but that doesnt really matter. Building a new rig?

hi yes im just trying to get some pieces together before i start would it be better to have the fans underneath the rad to push out ??

There's no or negligible difference in doing push-pull, pull or push. Choose whichever you like best, I myself prefer push since in my mind it makes more sense and I find it looks better, especially with SP120's ;)

i think i might put the rad on the outside under the mesh and then put sp120s on the inside of the case if it all fits and goes according to plan then many thanks for your help

The thicker H105 probably won't fit under the mesh. It only fits an H100(i) or a set of fans, which would both be 25mm thick judging from the pictures on Google.

As the H105 is a thicker rad, it will depend on the position and height of your motherboard heatsinks and ram slots/dimms if it will fit. The H105 is 38mm thick.

This is correct. Rad inside with the fans above under the mesh pulling air out

hi all and thanks for the replies and ive now ordered one many thanks again for your help and i will fit as tom said once again thank you all

It should fit. Even if the grill won't fit it still won't look bad. I leave mine off just for a little extra air flow and it doesn't look bad but then I'm not that OCD about the looks and it might not be cool with you if you like it looking sharp and all buttoned up. I have my fans mounted on the inside and pulling air thru. This way worked best for my setup. It was almost 3C difference under OCCT as opposed to the fans running as exhaust.
