500R first time mods/playtime

Ah okay! It's a bit too long for my liking but I must say that your pc looks 10x better than in the begin post ;)

Only thing that's bothering me, just a minor thing. The loop order. Why are you forcing warmer water down and cooler up? Also, your front rad is hotter than the top one, so you get warmer air in your case, your cooling can be better. I would change it.
~Res>pump>2 cards>CPU>top rad>front rad~ You just have to turn the pump and CPU block around. As you turn the pump on its side, you get room to connect the res to the rad with 2 90° fittings. The fan in the middle of the mobo is bothering me, because it's ugly and it doesn't change a thing if it's there or not, it just makes noise tbh. My thoughts for making this a masterpiece!
Everything else is where it should be! Great work!

my thinking was the coolest water straight from the rads was going to cpu temp running 55-58 full load but I do see your point thanks

Looks fantastic. I especially like the 24-pin motherboard cable sleeving.

its a bought extension but I didnt like the way the cables went on bending back to the grommet so I played with tie wraps to get them to stay flat

Also those grafics cards are crying for a backplate!!!

you got me confused on this one they got back plates on? homemade one covered in wrap but they covered:confused:

It's not going to make a difference if it goes through the GPU first tbh...
But, yeah, it was just my thought to make it a just a little tincy wincy better

In the end, a rig is something creative and personal. Some people actually like loads of tubing to be showing, it feels up the case, and with UV lights and reactive stuff looks awesome. I like it, even though for some looks cheap, i think the intended effect was making the tubing look like it had some stripes. maybe another choice of material, ye, maybe, but can't say its a bad work. Its him doing the rig as he likes it, and thats why we got into modding in the first place, to have something a bit out of the standard, how we want it.

Stop hating ppl. And dude, my respects, some moments in life are hard as hell, but we must not lose hope in the future and keep going. Don't lose hope =)

thanks mate:)

Not a bad effort. Obviously now that it's done you see things that you would have done differently, but it has to start somewhere, amirite? Honestly just cleaning up the loop itself a bit would make a world of difference in how well the case presents itself. Your build though, and if it suits your needs and you like it enough to show it off here then the WORST you get from me is "constructive criticism" x-)

Hi all a little update one of the gtx550 died on me so we got my hand deep in the pocket and treat myself to a 7970 after some advice on here sat it on water
while it was drained down I followed other advice here and reversed the loop reduce the tubing and tidied the cables( hide them under the mobo)
I wasnt too keen on the window job I done so redid it see what you think now

Is this the same as the setup in the 1st picture (other than the GPUs) cause it looks so much different and a hell of a lot nicer it is crazy.

Kudos on the improvement

thanks Spiderz same rig just after a steep learning curve

It's looking pretty darn good now, and I also like the Di-Noc. The windows looks 573 times better now, looks clean. The only thing a bit off now is the rear exaust fan, it looks out of place.
