4Gb 1333 vs 2Gb 1800 DDR3?

Hi

Am putting together a new build but can't decide on the ram. Am stuck between 2Gb 1800 & 4Gb 1333 DDR3 - both at same price of £290.

Will be dual booting xp32 and vista 64.

Running on 790i ultra with watercooling for cpu (E8500), 2X8800GT and mobo.

Main uses gaming (mainly) with video editing thrown in.

Any suggestions much appreciated!

well depends on your OS, if its vista id go for 4gb and xp 2gb is plenty.

Speed makes little real life difference and you can always try n clock it.

yeah, although more mb doesnt really make a difference over 2gb on xp...

Indeed and it`s probably a matter of time b4 u have to get Vista.

I would also get 4GB and overclock them a bit ( even tho for me those speeds are plenty!! :worship: )

Will go for the 4Gb I think; then see if can get that cpu to 6Ghz! :wavey:
