4670K @ 4.6 | OCCT - Vcore help.

Not sure if this should have been in the overclocking threads or not. My problem is trying ti understand my VCore reading from the OCCT printouts.

I have an i5 4670k @ 4.6 with 1.282v.

The reading from the graph shows the VCore as 1.8. Unsure what is happening here never had this problem before. I might add the VID seems to be showing the right amount. Also CPUZ shows the right amount. Has anyone got any help for me with this, i really wanted to get it to 4.8 but dont want to chance it while im unsure of the VCore.

Running with Asus Maximus Gene VII and 8GB of Corsair Vengeance Pro Ram.

Thanks in advance.

images dont work but Vcore is volts into the CPU area feeding everything

CPU Vcore is what your CPU is actually using and will match what the BIOS is set to and maybe + a bit for LLC

Morning Tom, I have set the VCore in bios too 1.282 surly it shouldn't be raising it as high as 1.8 that is insane. The LLC is set to level 6 (Options are 1-9).

The readout don't make sense to me. Please take a look and see what you think Tom.

Read above -

Vcore and CPU Vcore are different.

Vcore will be about 1.8

CPU Vcore is the 1.28 you spoke about
