Yep I am looking for a 40mm 2pin fan for my server powersupply.

I cannot see to find any!

They move almost no air, are you sure you can't plug in a bigger one anywhere ?

And yeah, I know they move no air..

But my servers PSU has 4 40mm 2pin fans in it(it is a flat PSU), anywhoo one gave up the ghost which means the whole servers shuts down.

And the cheapest way to fix this is to open the PSU and replace the fan itself. Can be dangerous if it still has charge.. but meh.

Make sure the fan is fast enough for you Tox. Because they are so small they have to spin REALLY fast to move air, slower fans will NOT move enough air for a PS.

(notice how they say chipset cooling, cause they dont move a lot of air)

They are monster fans, shame they are 3pinned.

I looked everywhere and all the fast fans are 3pinned.. I hope the one I grabbed cools it enough.

if the ones you got dont work all you need to do is remove the yellow wire (speed sensor) and use the 2 pin ends, Voila!

I will be very interested to see what happens Tox, please keep me updated.

( I was going to use one of those 1U power supplies in a mod)
