3DMark 2005 Scores: Show It Off!

My 3DMark05 Score was 5263 last time I bothered to do it (with an older board - an Aopen AK77 600-GN not running dual RAM). Been too busy tinkering/gaming to do another one since!

Not too bad for my little XP 3200+ Barton!! :D

Bigup ImageShack for hosting as always!!

This was with 0 hours of tweaking, I'm annoyed that I got less than Frag with my Ultra

A 6800GT overclocked will always be faster than ultra at stocks becoz of the tighter ram timings that the 6800Gt uses. But once you overclock the ultra , you should see a nice healthy boost in your scores.

Finally got over 5500, but I'm too close to 5600 not to break it. These are the maximum clocks I can run at before noticable artifacting occurs so I'm gonna try a 3dmark05 tweaking guide now.

x800 pro: 555/550

I'll never top a fully overclocked 6800 gt cause of the pipes, but getting close would be good. These things can do wonders at high clocks though.

Benched my eVGA for the first time last night and I came up with a 5452.... Which isn't all that bad I guess, considering I'm only running at 2.2ghz and my vid card OC is only 400/1050.

When I get some time I'll see if I can get it any higher.

Last time I tried I got shitty benchmarks for 05, 03 and aqaumark.....my CPU score seems to be lower than a strippers knickers....dunno whats up.

I mean I got 44000 in Aquamark! My GPU score was around 9-10k and my CPU was like 4k......I have no clue wtf is wrong...but I aint had the time to look into it....

My score isn't particularly bad, in fact its pretty good compared to other GT's... but knowing my old AGP 6800 GT did 5611 leaves a bit to be desired with my current card.

After I get the modded BIOS from XMS everything should be golden.

I know that's pretty good mate....but mine aint.

Well benching my 6800GT with my XP 3200+ I got 5263 but with my A64 I get 49XX which I'm a bit miffed about TBH.

So I'm gonna have to look into what's going on.....

That's quite strange that you got a decrease in perfomance after switching over to the A64.... Definately have a look at your settings and make sure they're on par.

That happened to me too when I first switched over to A64. Later I found out my ram was in single channel set on a low divider cause I put it in the motherboard wrong.

That'll do it to ya!
