32Gb Solid State Drive Now Available!

Very interesting. IDE (UDMA66) interface. Maybe when there is an external version, then I can carry it around (home to office, etc.)

This would make an amazing gaming drive, yummmmm! :yumyum: Think of the non-existent load times :D

I feel you on that one, but I think I'll wait for a SATA one that is bigger capacity for less $...

Guess I'll be waiting a while!

Bring on the SSD :yumyum:

Samsung just announced a 64GB SSD today. Doesn't say what the interface is but the read/write speeds are improved over the 32GB version.

Well I got one. Now all I need is the adapter to plug it into a real IDE cable (which is on its way from Taiwan as we speak - wos cheaper inc postage than from the UK)
