3 6 pin on psu 4 6 pin on video card

I currently have a thermaltake toughpower 1200w power supply which only has 3 6 pin power connectors. my video card however has 2 and I am going to get a second one. I like overclocking (but just slightly) and i was wondering if using the molex was ok or if I should get a new powr supply. Its extremely disapointing if i cant use this power supply because my brother gave it to me for free

is there an 8 pin to 6 pin adapter or something so that I can use my 8 pin because i have 3 of those available.

any solutions? also the connectors that came with the sapphire card is weird its only 1 molex to 1 6 pin. usually its 2 molex....I really dont want to buy a new psu mine is soo good.

also what power supply should I get that is 99% reliable? 1200w please.

don't you have a 8 pin cable that's 6+2 on the other side ? you can just bend the +2 part away with a zip tie or just let it hang there.. i wouldn't use molex, not because it's bad but it makes your wiring very messy

lol dugdiamond. I have a molex to 6 pin connector and I made that very clear. I was wondering if i should use it. I heard multiple times that it is not a good idea to use it especially when overclocking. i have a 1200w psu so i know that power isnt a problem. unfortunately my power supply has 3 8 pins and 3 6 pins. the 8 pins are not bendable so I cant do that. I was wondering if there was some kind of attachment for the 8 pin to make it like that. so that I could bend them away. because if I can that would be great.

if there is no way to do that. then what is a good 1000w or 1200w psu to get. i was lookign at corsairs for now.

Oh haha man i am such a n00b. it doesnt say it in the instructions that it includes this in the parts list and all the pictures of mine that I see dont show it (i got this one 5-6 years ago when 8 pin was new) and it actually includes 3 8pin-6pin converters.

sorry for wasting your time guys. I just had to take out every cable and find it.
