gorby said:Shigs with my sl6 I get to around 280 and that’s where is started needing my mobo mods. @ around 275 I start turning up the juice. Atm im hitting my geils (sames sticks as axer's) with 3.2 with slightly slacker timings than b4, im a bit scared of throwing < 3.3V's @ mem other than 4 benching. With 3.3 @ 292 fsb I can get 2-3-2-6. 3.2 gives me 2-3-3-6. I’m finding that the droop mod is really helping with stability @ the high fsb's. Ive stuck with 1.75 but the fluctuation is now so much better. Without the mods id see prime reduce the vcore in windows to around 1.58 which would always result in reboot. After a little tuning, idling I get 1.77 (1.73 on multimeter 1.75 in bios) and with 2X prime small fft's i get around 1.69.
ps I knackered my rubbish psu trying to do the 3V line mod in it so i haven’t touched my antec![]()

I recommend you have a very tiny bit for your iron and you will need a multimeter. I did mine in the week was fairly easy.
Maplins have variable resistors just like the ones shown, also used them for the multimeter, soldering iron and solder. You might want a magnifying glass too.name='Warlord Shigs' said:thanks 4 teh link mate, was there a site u ordered all ur bits from?
