Lets go from the top again, I'm a bit confused why your drivers had issues. Normally its pretty good at detecting multiple cards

Which driver did you use, beta right? Try the non beta one again. It probably will work now. Weird idea I know but its worth a try. This time don't use DDU either. Just do it the way the driver wants to do it. Not normally a recommend idea but it could be due to something left behind by your 780.

Also how did you get the driver from AMD's site?

-edit- Its not that I doubt your ability to use computers, I just think something has gone a bit funky so it'll be cool to fix it for future reference :)

Originally I had uninstalled my GTX 780 drivers as normal. The rig has been off for about a week, put my 295X2 in and booted up, downloaded the latest Windows 8/8.1 64-bit drivers from AMD's website, but on analyzing my system it only gave me the option to install CCC and a couple of other bits like Raptr, no display driver and no HDMI audio driver. So once I had safe booted in and out a dozen times removing AMD, Intel and NVIDIA drivers that may be left behind in DDU I tried the drivers again but nothing, only the latest Beta drivers give me the option for the display and audio drivers and other bits.

The CrossFireX enable/disable button isn't there but the AMD rep said thats perfectly normal although still strange as Domm did have the enable/disable button, but whatever.

So tried a couple of games last night, Ryse maxed out was 28-33fps, don't know if thats normal or whether it supports dual GPU's but I'm guessing it does because my 780 couldn't run any supersampling without it basically freezing.

Far Cry 4 was getting around 70fps but wouldn't let me turn on AA, could probably do it in CCC but still odd.

Ran Valley and got that score and thats as far as I' am atm.

The auto detect utility they have (that you get from their site) doesn't work with crossfire from what I know.

No I manually did it, don't trust the auto detect stuff. No reason not too, I just wouldn't.

They are the drivers I have, but the official release is the one that doesn't work bud. :\

Also, in Valley in the top right hand corner it has a box "AMD CrossFire" or something, is that pointing out that it is infact running both GPU's during the test?
 
It's a software fault and as GPU-Z pointed out the other night on chat both GPU's are enabled.

When I limited the temp through the control panel during testing ALL my scores went down, Various benchmarks, 3DMark, Games etc...

Try running valley again but this time with the temps at max, The power target at max i.e 50% and then see what your score is.

Also you have to remember if the card goes over 75'c it will throttle itself so make sure you have the rad fan at max during tests just to make sure temps aren't an issue.

I'll switch it back up to 75 degrees tonight and re-run the test. I will try 3DMark as well to compare it to yours. Got to find out whats going on. :(

I'll give you an example, I limited the temps down to 60'c in Crysis 3 and I started getting hitching and stuttering as the card was lowering clocks and volts to lower the temps down to 60'c and it was the same in every game and benchmark I tried once the card got to 60'c.

Unless you're super worried about the ice caps melting just leave it at 75, Will stop throttling, Unless temps get stupidly high of course, Like in the middle of summer.

Ahhh that one, yeah that one. Thats in the box, the box that could fit a 32" monitor in. Its huuuge. The card JUST fits in my case.

Was fullscreen but I will check ULPS thanks. :)

Edit: Turned the target temp back up to 75 and got this.

That's a buttload better than 1800, You won't reach the same score as Kaap though as he ran that with a 5960X, You can improve your score though by overclocking if you want :)
 
For any interested, Turns out the fap meister Shaun was running the Windows 8.1 drivers whilst running windows 8, Not 8.1, So all this trouble shooting was literally for nothing, Well done Shaun, Well done :D
