24 is the way to go!

Nice case facia ;)

Monitor looks awesome mate. And thats some serious mouse surface real estate. You still CSSing? should get together for a game again some time soon :)

Yeah the old Cheiftec Dragon has seen better days, its about 6 years old now and i've been trying to replace it for a while.

Dont play CS anymore but do play COD4 alot now fingers crossed should be at i34 for piece of the 12k Euros.

As for it being minimalistic, thats one of the joys of having the two desks all the mess goes on the other one ;)

The monitor doesn't really look that big in these shots tbh

The above is how i used to have it and below is one when i attempted to move to a Li Lain cube!

But that failed as it overheated and the mobo was crap for my Q6600 to overclock.

Yeah i know :/ only reason i went with OcUK is because they guarantee it will be a VA panel, where everywhere else wouldn't.

Ended up getting £20 back for delivery though which is kewl - in the end im happy but i really dont ever want to use OcUK again if i can manage it.

Same here, although they did give me £19.95 back instead of £19.45. Made myself a nice 50p rofl.

Games are so much better on a 24" I really don't know how I lived with my old monitor.

It took me a while to get used to widescreen in cs:s :)

With a few config tweaks it seems ok tho.

I only lost 45fps on the benchmark going from 1280x1024 to 1920x1200 aswell which really surprised me.

It's good you got your money back for the postage.

I've just had to RMA some RAM to OcUK as it was faulty, not RMA'd anything to them for years so will be interesting to see how quickly their turn around is.

It was'nt OCZ Ram was it? I had to send a batch back to them last month and was the first time i ever RMA'd anything.

Yer

OCZ Platinum Rev2 :(

Was cheap, but it won't run at 6400. Runs at 5300 no problems.
