Hey All, Looking to update my 3 acer monitors and I saw this on Scan.

Looking at the specs and the price, There has to be a catch.

The fact it's an IPS display is the reason I'm going for it.

The question is if anyone has seen it or used it personally. I would like to know how gaming is on it and if the screen quality and viewing angles are good.

Also if it would look good in a triple monitor set up. If anyone has any ideas on another monitor that would be similar in specs and quality wise and doesn't cost and arm and a leg.

the catch might be its out of stock and might not come back in lol.

Seriously though if they do sell for that price that looks awesome

It's the monitor i should have got, Good choice i think

There are a few other places that have it on stock. I original found it on Scan.

There price looks to be around €170-180(£140-150).

It is indeed a great price for it and the specs do look good. It would be great to see some decent gaming videos on it and perhaps get an opinion on it for gaming. It's the possible lag and ghosting issues with IPS displays that I'm concerned about.

I may just buy one and test it out myself. It would be nice to have either way, even if it is not for gaming.

I'll be getting one in a couple of weeks, but it'll be a work machine so there'll be no gaming on it (

For what it's worth, this monitor gets some fantastic reviews on the net, you'll have to check them out.

I was checking out some of the reviews earlier. It seems it does get some amazing reviews alright. Expert review gave it 5 out of 5 stars. That actually says alot.

This may be my next set of monitors.

Or at least 1 monitor for another computer.

Another monitor that might be worth looking at is the Dell U2412 IPS 1920x1200. It's a very highly recommended monitor.

I can't give any comparison as I've never seen either but I thought it might be worth giving you more options just to confuse you

if you're just looking for 1080p, i'd get the u2312hm dell instead. it's got a non-existent input lag (way better than the 24"), and colours are more or less the same. comes in at around £180 though
