2000 euro pc

Hello,

A friend of mine wants to build a 2000 euros pc. He has bin getting advise from some one who works at a retail store wich i dont really trust.

He wants to use his new pc for things like:

-Livestreaming games (like cs:go and bf4)
-A bit of video editing
-A lot of gaming on high resolutions (triple monitor)

He already has a case and only needs internals.

Any advise will be apriciated.

He wants to build it asap, that store guy is really stuborn about his cpu choice. He keeps saying that he needs a 6 core to run games like max payne on 1080p. And the reason for this is the fact that the maxpayne webside says so.

also an update: He doesnt want 3 monitors. Just 1080p

Which six core?
Also, you can run Max payne 3 on an i3 fine. thats a dual core.

6 cores is BS. Just get him a quad core like a 4670k or 4770k.

The Core i7-4930K wich is about 600 euros.

yeah. for the streaming and editing i'd choose the i7. no need for a 4930k at all, rather spend the extra money on the GPU(s)

Streaming is the only real thing which could make use of the 4930k however thats only if you're super serious about streaming. AMD chips also do fantastically for streaming however they're crap at editing.

I'd say just go ssd with that budget and maybe a 1tb black if you really need it.
