What is the purpose of this build?
It's hard to provide any advice if we do not know what the machine is going to be used for.

Sorry I forgot to put that in but it would be a gaming PC my transition from console gaming to PC gaming. I am also thinking of changing the case to one that supports full ATX motherboards as well as the mini ITX boards so I can upgrade in the future without having to buy a new case. Many thanks in advance.

For the money i'd rather have this (at least you have a upgrade path the mobo will take a cheap fast xeon quad core with HT with ease and the case will fit any gpu even a 7990)

Thanks for your responses but I do wanna go for the AMD processor due to the higher amount of cores and with more games and programs taking advantage of more cores it will have the advantage also I love AMD and with that motherboard having built in wifi is a great thing the things I really wanna know is the RAM, PSU and the HDD because I already have an SSD out of my laptop for the OS

The individual components still stand if you whant AMD or Intel
1 the XFX 550w is a seasonic with a sticker on it and is a better psu with more power (the low end evga is shoddy and dosent keep within its %80 efficiency range)

EVGA 500w ---> http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&file=print&reid=351

XFX 550w ----> http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story3&reid=225

2 The Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB is the best price to performance and reliable drive you can buy rigth now-anless you go for a HGST deskstar/made by hitachi underlisence of Western Digital (more expencive)

3 The N200 case is possibly the best low budget M-ATX case you can buy for £30 and under offering full water cooling upgrade options and space for any gpu ever made as well as being small and functional in your price bracket (a video of the case is below)

4 the R9 285 over the R9 280(its a HD 7950) the 285 offers more perfomance and has DX12/True audio/lower power consumption and freesync over the now droped by AMD ageing HD7950(R9 280) that has none of these features

5 the Corsair Vengeance 8GB kit is a no nonsense pretty much bomb proof cheap kit and has excellent performance and customer service (i'd pick G Skill over them but its not in your budget anless you find a sale)

I hope this has helped you out :D
