I put together this comp for a contest last week (got my butt kicked, lol) But it is to interesting not to show.

First it runs a Asus p5n e SLI with a pair of 8600GTs in SLI and a pair of 80 gig laptop HDDs running Raid0 and has a little H20 thrown in for fun.

Here is the KICKER...it runs on a 235 watt PS. check out where the PS is mounted)

that is a sweet little machine.!!How can it run a pair of 8800gt's in sli on only a 235w psu?

LOL, I thought I had written the wrong thing, the cards are 8600GTs.

(running with my FX 62 they were 16K on 3Dmark05 and 10K on 06)

Little is right, its only 13" tall.

Very Nice, size isn't everything.

Thats a nice little rig. 13" of pure power. The front display and fan behind the grill look great against the black.

8 amps on the 12volt rail!?

I think it looks great :) Nice work!

Cheers!

LOL, Its an oldie, found it in the trash and cause it was a PC Power & Cooling I kept it.

MARKK!!! YOURE BACK!!!

i love seeing youre work, and this is just another one of the great mods you have done.

Looks amazing.i can see the chipset fan has the Crossflow fan shape/design :D

Although i cant seem to find where that PSU is in the comp :P

look under the DVD..origionally the Rosewill (great idea Rosewill :worship:)case had the ps in the lower front (where the rad is) but I raised it to be under the DVD. The brilliant part is the wires all need to be less than 6" to reach everything.

Less wires= less heat and electricity wasted.

Not to mention its the first 235watt watercooled SLI comp I have ever heard about (talk about a "Green" comp, where the hell is Al Gore now):wavey:

hows things DarkOrb?

I love how you have stealthed the lappy HDD's - ingenious!

I'm going to be honest - it's not as good as some of your other work (IMO) but it still rocks ;)

Out of interest have you got a link/pic of the winners?

Quote from Intel:

"Intel delivers energy efficient processors that allow the modding community to build and use the materials you want in your creations."

I wanted to show several things,

First was not everyone can have a custom case so I wanted to appeal to a broader audience. (to show you dont need to buy a $300 case to build a cool comp)

That a gaming comp could be efficient

You dont have to keep using the same old tired design over and over

What should I have done different? I have it in pieces and am making a new case. Or should I continue to build SFF cases?
