Hello Guys Im looking for some opinions on this build is there anything you would change etc

I dont need OS or Peripherals however monitor and Speakers are essential, I dont want a screen size bigger than 24" and obviously budget is important also I would much prefer Nvidia GPU as I do like to play some older games that have issues with Scaling/Widescreen and some Texturing issues etc so Nvidia is also pretty much a necessity for me anyway heres what I have in my basket

Intel i5-4690k 201.19e (5 euro more expensive than 4670k so why not)
NH-D15 82.35e
Asus z97-Pro 153.15e
Team Group Vulcan Gold 2400 2x8GB 132.37e
MSI GTX 780 Gaming 3GB 417.33e
Samsung 840 EVO 500GB 204.98e
Super Flower Golden Green HX 650w Gold PSU 76.11e
Fractal Design Define R4 PCGH 95.13e
Asus PB238q 23" 1080p IPS Monitor 209e
Edifier R1900Tii 2.0 Speakers 89.59e

Total 1661.20 euro

Solid choices :) Some ideas:
- if you're looking to go xfire/sli in the foreseeable future you might want to get a slightly more powerful PSU to have some more headroom and peace of mind
- Crucial MX100 ssd with 512GB will give you slightly more space for slightly less money and practically the same performance... pretty much personal preference, though, I guess
- personally I'd go with a different brand of RAM (Corsair or G.Skill), but that's just because I consider those to be pretty good. Have not heard anything about Team Group (neither good nor bad), so that might just be a personal thing as well.

What site you reading from?

Im very sorry the website is Hardwareversande.de, thanks for the assistance :)

Thank you I'm just trying to build a well balanced system that will last a couple years whilst trying desperately to hold onto any cash I can so any input is great!

I really have no intentions of going for a 2 card set up anytime in the future would much rather a single card solution wherever possible and I think a single 780 @1080p should be adequate for the next 12 months I hope :p

I will most definitely pick up the Crucial drive instead its bigger and cheaper I dont think I would notice the difference in speed if there is one so thank you very much

As regards the RAM I'm really not worried plenty people using Team Group memory but thank you for the advice

yeah, that should last you at least 12 months :D and for a single card the PSU is easily enough

glad I could help :)

fair enough, haven't really heard anything about them, but if you've heard good things then go for it

any reason for such a large ssd? cant you go smaller and get a hdd for storage to keep the same value drives is it for games?

And i have a 780 runs games fine! :D

The last PC I built I used a Samsung 830 Pro 256GB SSD and I filled it up far too quickly and yep some games will be most definitely be on it :) , I have a 2TB Western Digital drive Ill be using as the brunt of my storage, anyway I dont think the 200e spent on it could be spent better elsewhere other than a 780 ti but they are a little too rich for my blood at the moment :)

Im keeping my ssd fine with only 80gb on it :)
but your choice lol just making a suggestion tis all maybe look at a sshd for ya games, thats what i wish i did im gonna get a 2TB SSHD for steam and origin games. If not maybe 3TB but looking at budget.

Haha ive had installs of Skyrim take up 45GB of space and the difference in performance moving from HDD to SSD when loading that much data is most definitely noticed and appreciated!

As I said I cant think of anything I could spend the saved money on that would be more useful than the large SSD space but if you have any recommendations id love to hear them :D

I Have 50Gb running off a normal drive, well relatively normal nothing spesh anyway. And the loads are almost instant still even with hi res packs and multi weapon and even addon sections.

But your choice :D

i think SSHD is the best bet with a small SSD for ya OS maybe general software and drivers but thats just me :D
