16Gb ddr3 ?

Hello,
i have an ITX board with 16Gb at the moment, are there such a thing as 16Gb DDR modules so i can run 32 Gb ?

Yes they exist, however, chances are your mobo doesn't support them. I have only seen them for Mac systems.

Might be cause Mac Pros can use ECC RAM (eg for servers) which regular desktops boards don't support.

But yes, they do exist and start at around £100 per 16GB DIMM

Please note that most of these are ECC dimms and likely will not work with your CPU/Motherboard.

Check your motherboard specs as a lot of them specifically list 16gb max memory. Newer units like the Maximus VIII Impact can go 32gb but that's where I'd start looking.

They'd certainly have a premium price as well.
