£1300 Gaming build

Just a couple of thoughts I have, the 1866MHz memory kit may be unnecessary, most would say that 1600MHz is all that's needed but as there's only £2.75 in it i'd go with 1866.

As NeverBackDown says if your thinking SLI/Xfire is likely in the future you'll want to go with an 850watt PSU, either the AX860 or RM850. And if you don't think you will go with SLI/Xfire then drop down to the RM650 and save a bit of your budget for other stuff.

Also if you want to use the Corsair fans in your case and not on the H100i then you will want to get AF120's instead of SP's as they are built for unrestricted airflow as opposed to static pressure.

hmm might look at the PSU then, the only problem is the AX 760i is around £130 including shipping, whereas the AX860i is almost £200 including shipping.

Also the SP120's where going to go on the cooler anyway, i know that AF is for case and SP for rads etc, i might add a AF140 to the rear of the case to help with the colour scheme

I wouldn't bother with the AX'i' series PSU's the AX860 'non-i' is the one to go for and they are about £152, I definitely wouldn't pay £200 for the AX860i it's not worth it for the less reputable OEM and notoriously temperamental Corsair Link. I see no reason why not to go for the RM850, they are very reasonably priced with all of the same features and still a substantial warranty.

Ok that makes sense with the fans, yeah an AF140 would look nice through the window. Looking pretty good.

ah right didnt even know they did a non 'i' version, and i dont really like the RM psu's i installed my friends RM650 and the cables are nice, but seem really stiff.

I am also planning of getting LED lights for the case, got any suggestions of decent ones to use? also white or blue lights?

I've played stupid amounts of ARMA/DayZ mod and I can safely say that the games tend to prefer Nvidia over AMD. Basically 290 for mantle/Battlefield and the 780 for DayZ & Arma3. Your call on which one you prefer.

You could go for an RGB lighting kit, I think white or blue could work really well depending on the amount of each accent you go for. If you had the corsair fans with white rings then I think blue lights would work but if you used the blue rings and blue vengeance pro then white lights would really set it off. You wouldn't light a ROG build in red it would be weird.

The NZXT sleeved LED kits aren't bad.

Then again it also perfers Intel over AMD.

Easily so. AMD cpus are crap for Arma because the game only uses 2-4 cores (Arma 3 is improving slowly and supposedly so Will Dayz standalone). You need the strongest cores you can get. The gpus aren't as bad but still its works slightly better with Nvidia, especially for Arma 3, which uses PhysX.
