120v/240v PSU question on USA/UK???

Hello all,
I am building a Mini-ITX gaming rig for my nephew who lives in UK. He is getting married in April 2017. I have all my parts picked and I know this may sound like a silly question, but I'm here to do just that ask a silly question for clarity.

I know modern PSU's can work both 120v or 240v or is this an assumption on my part? I'm building it and testing it here in USA, then bringing it over for the wedding in UK for them. Do I need to do anything other the change the power cord on PSU from US to UK standard plugs? Looking for any advice or links for correct parts that will power rig in UK? :)
C-YA!!!

As long as it's one of the modern psus that switching from 110v to 240v is automatic. the plug on the cpus is the standard internationally the only thing you'll need is a uk socket cord OR a good adapter

Doesn't modern PSUs also come with several power cords? Depending on if you're in US, UK or EU?...

Depends on the brand, it's surely an unnecessary expense puting a cord for the UK for the EU and for the US in a psu package. For someone living in the eu maybe two cords is reasonable but for someone in the US what's the chance of transporting a pc from the us to the uk?

Cool guys that is what I thought and I used this question for the reason I join this morning. I thank you for sharing and the fast response. I will confirm specs on a couple of PSU's I have on hand (CM & EVGA) and post what I find and find a source for the UK cord/plug....maybe something braided....any suggestions from your side of the pond? I think maybe a para-cord would look cool going to the rig, since he is 50% US/50% UK and serves in the British Army, I love this kid like a son. My daughters are same age as him mid to late 30's and we all love him dearly. To me he's a kid, but he's a captain over there and been to Afghanistan on a couple of tours. We are so proud of him and happy he made it back safe. This is my way of giving him a tricked out water-cooled mini beast gaming rig to chill when he can, still on active duty.

Thanks

Oh thanks man, I'll pick it up and see if I can sleeve and shrink-wrap it myself. You RULE Tolemac!!! Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon!
