read the review on hear fella you will see the temp diff its quite a few c off,its the king of OC tho i wont doubt that

plus its at a higher price about a £10er more
 
yeah but these cards are all about overclockin them a lot and thats where it comes in use and i think the £10 extra is well spent on a cooler like that plus we will find out if the direct cu cards have a completely unlocked voltage tweak if they do that extra £10 makes it even more of a better buy

The link to the Azunetech is the wrong model i'm afraid.

I'm after the Maximum Dream Pc 2010 sound card, which is the Azunetech X-Fi Forte 7.1. Its been given loads of amazing reviews.

I originally looked at the Asus 460's but i thought Zotac where better, so thanks for your guys lending your experience.
 
i think that nearly every 460 (768 v 768 and 1gb v 1gb) are similar in performance but its more so about the cooler thats on them
 
alryt you dident give me a model fella so i just whent to my fave retailer and looked there,it was the only one they had i will have a gander

erm i think the blower cooler and MSI's coolers are very good but i just chose them to as its minor diff price wise

Thank you very much for your effort.

I contacted Scan, Aria and Overclockers and all 3 dont stock it and cant get it in stock either. Apparently there is a shortage world wide.
 
Looks like i'm going to replace the sound card with a Generic Cretive X-Fi Gamer/Titanium and upgrade the case to a Silverstone Fortress FT02.
 
why not something like xonar they seem pritty good

not keen on that case but each to there on fella,i like the tj09 better

I've been reading loads of reviews about the Xonar and they seem mixed.

They dont seem to have the full range of EAX effects in game and the constant driver problems too.

I'm probably wrong.

460 SLI over 480 GTX - abso bloody lutely.

Cooler, quieter, faster, cheaper. Nuff said really. That's why I got Xfire 5770. £250 for 5870 performance which at the time was setting you back more like £350.

Blower fan - no. It's just woefully inadequate on Fermi and should be banished to heck.

TJ07 - boing.

Antec - don't like them but that's just me.

If some one means Xonar as in the sound card then please, please please don't do it. Ashton you're not wrong in the slightest. I had the D2X and it was nothing but crashes, looping sample freezes and bsods. Ramguy from Corsair became so frustrated that he simply compiled his own driver by adjusting one of the other drivers. This made it better, but NO WAY would I pay over a hundred smackers for something so messed up.

Thanks a lot for the information.

Just noticed the guys at OC3D have just done a MSI N465GTX Twin Frozr II Review, so i was wondering how this card would compare to a 460 in sli.

the 460 sli would utterly spank it mate 460's similar to the 480 when in sli

1gb 460's in SLi will be on par with a 480,then of course you can OC them and get even better results

stick with the 460's fella
