10 core Intel Xeon

Intels new 10 core hyper threaded xeon processor blows my mind, I remember when two cores on a proc where crazy. Now we have a 10 core hyper threaded server proc that supports two terrabyts of memory. Blows my mind.

My first thought when I read this earlier today was, "Wonder what kind of PPD I'd get?"

They start out at like ~$750 in quantities of 1000 for the low end.

Yeah that would be fantastic for folding. The thought of two of these (on a board that supports 2 of coarse) making 40 theoretical cores is beyond me. For rendering or folding the performance would just be insane.
