1 temp sensor, two displays

Hey all,

I just got an inline water temp sensor to connect to my fan controller, but I also want to view the temp on another internal display.

Is it possible to buy a cable that connects to the probe then splits to 2 connections so I can view the same probe temp on different devices ?

Like the one you get to put 2 fans into 1 port?

Thanks

but im sure such a thing exists, i dont need to put 2 sensors in my loop 1 is enough i just want to get it to diplay reading in more than 1 display

I've been searching for hours can't get anything

I have my doubts of this working.

Think of a proper 3 pin fan splitter, where only one of the yellow wires is connected for tachometric feedback from the fan. I don't like the thought of pushing double the current from the fan controllers into one thermo probe, and having the probe provide electrical measurement with twice the power input.

Couldn't you buy a second temperature probe (just the standard wire ones, which cost about £1), cut the inline temperature sensor cable, strip the insulation back, solder the old wire back together and solder the wire and connector of the new temperature probe to the wire. Any time I need to connect two wires together, I tend to solder. But I don't know if this would work, I've never tried to connect two fan controllers to one probe.
