1 at a Time?

Hi all,

When upgrading more than one thing at a time, is it best doing one at a time?

ie motherboard, then graphics card, then sound card, or is it ok all at once?

Thanks

Its easier to fault-find if ya only change one thing at a time, or 2 if you`re moving to a new mobo and CPU. :)

Upgrading everything at once can be a hassle unless its all guaranteed working, but its also harder to see where the performance boosts are coing from

Sorry about that,

What I mean is I have the parts already and was a bit worried about how the drivers would re-act to a new board, Graphics cards installed at the same time?

you`ll have to reinstall windows anyway for a new mobo, so the drivers will need replaced anyway. :)

I'd have said everything together is your best bet as it sounds like your pretty much replacing everything so it'd save time when just doing a fresh install

Gotta be worth doing it all at once, because you're moving from Intel to AMD, I think - plus you'll need to install the S-ATA drivers on the fresh install or XP won't BOOT.
