1/4" Variable SLI VGA Connector

Hi,

Has anyone used these ??

They come in 1, 2 or 3 slot versions.

I was thinking of using one between my two 3870X2 cards, I have the XSPC coolers on both and fitted to a GA-X48-DQ6 mobo.

The mobo layout is graphic 1 - pci-e X1 - pci-e X1 - graphic 2

My question is do I need a 2 slot,as I have 2 slots between the graphic cards or do I need a 3 slot (counting the second graphics card as a slot space.

I have 3 of these but not used them for series cooling my GPUs. I've tried simplistic text explanation but it will be easier for you to post up what and where your bits are. Picture?

Single slot cards are just numbers eg. 1

Dual slot cards are numbers with an asterisk eg 1*

Numbers in Italics are non-GPUs eg 2

No connectors

have used these an they are like 2x 1/4 nuts with a hole througt and a pipe they look neat for TRI SLI
