Motherboard and fans

I purchased a ASRock 970m Pro3 motherboard, setting it up, and need to plug all the fans in. I purchased a Corsair Vengance C70 case. It has to fans on the front, one on the back. Can buy four more fans and put two of them them on the top, and two on the left side of the case.

I can only plug in my CPU fan, and have one slot for PWR_FAN1. Then there is a CHA_FAN1 slot with four prongs rather than 3 like the PWR_FAN1. What is the purpose of the CHA_FAN1? And can I use it for a fan for the front of my case? Thanks in advance.

CHA_FAN is for chassis fan, so yes you can use it for any fan you want.

Theory is when you have the "know how" but nothing works.
Practice is when everything works but no one knows why.
In our lab, theory and practice are combined: Nothing works and no one knows why

Id not use the 3 pin

Id also get yourself a powered PWM fan hub to plug the fans into

Just remember - more fans = more noise
If you recommend a product LINK THE REVIEW
